Medicare
A referral from your GP is all you need to access a Medicare rebate on most diagnostic assessments. Rebates apply to both adult and child hearing tests.
Hearing Services Program
If you hold a Pensioner Concession Card or are a DVA cardholder, you may be eligible for fully funded hearing assessments and subsidised hearing aids through the Australian Government's Hearing Services Program.
Health Funds
Most health funds provide rebate on hearing aids, and some on audiology appointments. We recommend you check with your health fund as cover varies between providers and policies.
